About Ecollegey

Do you love our planet and care about making a difference? Want to find ways to do more? Are you clueless about the world and are finally making an effort to learn? Well then welcome!

We’ve created Ecollegey as a means to share information about being sustainable in college. Our planet is in desperate need for change and protection – nothing else matters in our futures if our planet won’t be around for us to have one. Undeniably, everyone wants change, we want to save our planet, but few people want to change. Adjusting our busy lifestyles to be more eco-friendly requires a good mindset and some effort, but it may be easier than you think!

As we are both very passionate about saving the planet, we aim to make information accessible to young adults and college students in particular to encourage us all to reduce waste, save water, eat more sustainably, and live affordably! Now it’s fair to assume that we don’t know everything about conservation, but our goal is not to tell you how to live your life, rather to provide information that can otherwise be difficult to find or understand.

We are the generation that can really make an impact. It starts with YOU. We hope that even one of our tips will resonate with you and lead you to feel good about your lifestyle.

Hey! I’m a college student in San Diego studying Environmental Studies and Sociology. If I’m not at the beach soaking up the sun and frolicking in the waves, you can find me thrifting, at my local farmer’s market, or doing yoga. I love the outdoors, traveling, and animals. I eat a plant-based diet and love to cook meals with friends and family. I’m stoked to be able to share my enthusiasm for the environment and sustainability on this blog!

Hi there! I am a college student in New York studying Environmental Science and Economics and am super passionate about sustainability and environmental activism. Catch me cooking yummy vegan meals, hanging at the farmers market, working in the greenhouse at my college, and exploring the (hidden but many) green spaces that NY has to offer. I love sharing my sustainability tips & tricks with friends and family and learning from others as well, so I am super excited to have a platform where this type of exchange of knowledge is possible.
